A Missed Opportunity to Highlight Hashem’s Hand First and foremost, I would like to thank you for the interesting content you deliver daily—with the perfect balance (not too much and not too little)—and always in a sacred and refined manner. Last week, after hearing about the great miracle that occurred on Thursday night, with the Heaven-sent thwarting of the planned murderous terror attack, I was certain that the main and central headline in the daily email would focus on the miracle and on praising and thanking Hashem. I expected a title like “A Great Miracle Happened There”, but I was very surprised to find the news presented as a secondary item, written in a dry and technical manner—without any mention of Hashem’s hand in this event. I am confident that this will be rectified in the future, and may you continue your holy work of bringing good news, salvation, and comfort! Once again, thank you, |

Sir Keir Starmer has said the United States “is right” about the UK and Europe needing to take more responsibility for defence and security. The prime minister, speaking at the Scottish Labour conference in Glasgow on Sunday, said he is clear Britain “will take a leading responsibility” in protecting the continent. “And this is a generational moment. I’ve been saying for some time that we Europeans – including the United Kingdom – have to do more for our defence and security. The US is right about that.” He added “we can’t cling to the comforts of the past” as it is “time to take responsibility for our security” |

The Hamas terror organization released six more hostages on Shabbos, who were transferred to IDF forces and then to the hospital. These are the last six living hostages included in this deal, as the remaining hostages are not part of the current agreement. The names of those released: Hisham al-Sayed, a mentally ill Bedouin Arab who crossed into Gaza on his own and was held there for about ten years; Omer Wenkrat; Eliyah Cohen; Avraham Mengistu, another mentally ill young man who crossed into Gaza by himself and was also held there; Tal Shahem; and Omer Shem Tov. All six were released while on their feet and reunited with their families at the hospitals. They will remain under medical observation for several days before being discharged. Hamas still holds 69 hostages, 36 of whom are sadly no longer alive. In Israel, discussions are currently underway on whether to continue negotiations to secure the release of the remaining hostages or to resume military operations. |
