Yovo Hashlishi Veyachriya Benehem The blast and resulting fire occurred on Rechov Ben Gurion, which runs along the border between Bnei Brak and Ramat Gan. The border itself runs down the middle of the road, with even-numbered addresses belonging to Ramat Gan and odd-numbered addresses belonging to Bnei Brak. The incident took place on the side with even numbers—Ramat Gan. (I live within walking distance and visited the area to see the damage.) However, there was significant damage on both sides of the road. The mayor of Ramat Gan was interviewed and confirmed that the incident occurred within Ramat Gan’s jurisdiction, addressing questions many had raised about this detail. I hope this helps clarify the situation. Sincerely, YG |

Imran Khan Supporters Suspend Protests After Crackdown |
security forces pushed protesters back from D Chowk in central Islamabad on Tuesday |
Supporters of Pakistan’s former prime minister Imran Khan have temporarily suspended their protests demanding his release, following a forceful government crackdown. The demonstrations, organized by Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, escalated on Tuesday as protesters marched on central Islamabad. Protesters, who had vowed to remain in the capital until Khan’s release, breached barriers and advanced toward Democracy Square. However, they were met with heavy police resistance, including tear gas, which ultimately pushed them back. The clashes resulted in at least six fatalities—four security personnel and two civilians. The unrest began on Sunday and intensified during the march on Tuesday. On Wednesday, PTI issued a statement announcing a “temporary suspension” of the protests, citing what it described as the “government’s brutality” against demonstrators. The crackdown was swift and decisive. Despite reaching central Islamabad, protesters were dispersed by sunset on Tuesday. Authorities reportedly arrested over 500 PTI supporters during the operation. The country’s interior minister confirmed that Bushra Bibi, Imran Khan’s wife and a prominent figure in the protests, had left the area. |

IDF Fires Warning Shots as Lebanese Return to Villages in Southern Lebanon |
On Tuesday, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) troops fired warning shots at individuals attempting to approach villages in southern Lebanon, following orders from Defense Minister Israel Katz to prevent Hezbollah operatives from returning to the area during the implementation of a ceasefire deal. The IDF reported that several suspects in the village of Meiss al-Jabal were struck by gunfire as the military shifted its focus from active combat to enforcing the ceasefire agreement. Measures included blocking routes to villages and preventing access to areas where IDF troops are still stationed. Israeli Air Force planes continued to patrol the region, and IDF forces remained deployed in southern Lebanon. However, the ceasefire appeared to hold, with no rocket or drone fire reported since early Tuesday morning. Earlier in the day, warning shots were fired at several vehicles near Kafr Kila, a village across the border from Israel’s Metula. The IDF stated that the vehicles retreated after the shots were fired. Under the ceasefire agreement, the IDF has 60 days to complete its withdrawal from southern Lebanon. During this period, the Lebanese Army will gradually assume control of the area. Additionally, an American-led committee will be established to address any ceasefire violations. The ceasefire marks the end of 14 months of conflict initiated by Hezbollah, with both sides now working to ensure the agreement is upheld. |
