BREAKING: Iran launches missile attack on Israel bechasdei shamayim no injurious |
On Tuesday evening, Iran fired approximately 400 ballistic missiles into Israel, reportedly in response to the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah last Friday. Initial reports indicate a series of powerful, window-shaking explosions were heard in Tel Aviv and near Jerusalem. It remains unclear whether the blasts were from missiles striking their targets or being intercepted by Israel’s air defense system—or both. Israel and the United States had previously warned that any Iranian attack on Israel would result in severe consequences. Israeli army spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari confirmed that the country’s air defense system is fully operational, actively detecting and intercepting threats. However, he cautioned that “the defense is not hermetic,” acknowledging the potential for some missiles to evade interception. Nationwide shelter-in-place orders were sent to Israelis via mobile alerts and broadcast on national television. The entire population remains in bomb shelters awaiting further instructions from the IDF Home Front Command. “The Iranian attack is ongoing. Please remain in protected areas until further notice,” the IDF said in a statement. “The explosions you hear are due to interceptions or incoming projectiles. Our Aerial Defense Array is actively identifying and neutralizing launches.” As a precaution, Ben Gurion Airport has been closed, and all incoming flights are being diverted. An Israeli official told Kan News that the country’s response to Iran will be “significant and harsh.” In a statement, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards confirmed that the missile strikes were retaliation for the recent assassinations of Hezbollah leaders, including Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah. Iran warned it would continue launching attacks if further provoked. As of now bechasdie hashem, there are no confirmed reports of casualties. |
