Urgent Concern at Jordanian Border

Dear Editor,

I am writing to share a deeply troubling incident that occurred this week at the Jordanian border involving a group of approximately 250 Jewish travelers.

The group was en route from Jerusalem to a chartered flight from Aqaba to Paris, with onward connections to the U.S. They departed early Wednesday morning on six buses. Unfortunately, upon reaching the border, they encountered severe delays and disturbing treatment.

The flight, initially scheduled for 11:00 AM, was pushed to 7:20 PM (Israel time). Though a security escort was planned to accompany the group to the Amman airport, chaos ensued at the crossing. Officials reportedly shouted “Yahud” at the group, confiscated water bottles, and left travelers dehydrated and distressed. Even more alarming, religious items—tallis, tefillin, mezuzahs—and kosher food labeled in Hebrew were seized. Many passengers were forced to abandon their tefillin on the buses.

To make matters worse, border procedures were erratic. About 60 individuals remain stuck without explanation, while others were let through without any clear reason. The entire process has lacked order or transparency.

The travelers each paid $3,000 for the full journey, including border transfer and flights. With the clock ticking and the flight due to depart at noon, we urgently appeal to anyone with connections at the U.S. Embassy in Amman to intervene on behalf of the group.

Sincerely,

A Traveler

8-Year-Old Boy Killed in Accident Involving Police Vehicle
picture hole

A heavy tragedy has struck the Chareidi community in Antwerp, Belgium — and the Belz community in particular — with the heartbreaking news of the tragic passing of a precious young boy, a pure and innocent soul, Yehuda Alter Weiss, z”l, a student at the Belz “Machzikei Hadas” Talmud Torah in the city. He was just 8 years old.

He was killed after being hit by a police vehicle in Antwerp. He was hit while crossing the road by a van responding to a call.

The accident took place in Provinciestraat at around 9.45 on Wednesday morning. The police van had received an alert and was on its way to a callout. A vehicle from the railway police was on the street at the same time and moved aside to allow their colleagues to pass.

The child was crossing the road at the time and was struck by the police van. Despite attempts to resuscitate him, he died at the scene.

Hermer: UK joining war on Iran may be illegal
picture hole

Sir Keir Starmer has been warned by Lord Hermer that UK involvement in a US attack on Iran could be illegal.

Advice ascribed to the Attorney General is understood to have said that Britain must limit its involvement to protecting its allies from attack.

On Wednesday afternoon, Sir Keir held a meeting of the Cobra crisis committee at which options for joining a US-led strike were discussed, with Donald Trump suggesting he was poised to enter Israel’s war.

Britain’s capabilities extend from offering air and maritime logistics support in the Gulf to shooting down attack drones targeting Israel or even firing submarine-launched missiles at Iran itself.

However, it is understood that Lord Hermer is reluctant to sign off on any offensive operations. One official who has seen his legal advice told The Spectator: “The AG has concerns about the UK playing any role in this except for defending our allies.”

Israel’s Heroic Stand Exposes Britain’s Moral Retreat
picture hole

As Israel wages an existential war against a genocidal regime bent on nuclear weapons, Britain, under Sir Keir Starmer, has chosen cowardice over conviction. While Iranian missiles rained down on Israeli cities, the UK Prime Minister called for “de-escalation,” offering platitudes instead of protection. The nation that once stood tall alongside the forces of good has gone missing in action.

Iran is no distant foe. Its agents operate on British soil, threaten our citizens, and brand us one of the “Little Satans.” Yet instead of thanking Israel for confronting Tehran’s terror network, our government stands idle—more worried about alienating its activist base than defending democratic allies.

In contrast, Israel’s military brilliance has stunned the world. From 1,000 miles away, it is dismantling Iran’s terror empire while fending off attacks on seven fronts. This isn’t merely self-defence—it’s a historic pushback against radical Islamist aggression. Israel has become the West’s first line of defence, the shield we didn’t know we still had.

America, too, may be regaining its resolve, with reports of cooperation signalling a renewed Western deterrence. With Iran weakened, Hamas isolated, and the Abraham Accords potentially expanding, the strategic tide may finally be turning.

The truth is uncomfortable for many in Europe: Israel, with help from Trump, is doing what global institutions failed to do. By confronting evil, not appeasing it, Israel is reshaping the region—and rescuing the West from its post-modern paralysis.

Starmer’s failure isn’t just a diplomatic misstep. It is a symbol of national decline, a betrayal of our values and allies. At a moment demanding courage, Britain chose irrelevance. Israel, once again, stood alone—and stood tall.

Israeli hospital struck in latest Iranian ballistic missile barrage on Israel

An Iranian ballistic missile struck Soroka Hospital in Beersheba on Thursday morning as sirens sounded across Israel following a barrage launched from Iran.

Large blasts were heard across central Israel as several other direct impact sites were reported.

At least 20 missiles were launched from Iranian territory, Israeli media reported.
At least three direct impact sites were reported in the initial aftermath of the sirens. Magen David Adom said it was scanning sites of reported impacts.

With Nissim from Hashem, Israel Withstands Massive Iranian Assault: 24 Killed, Hundreds Wounded
picture hole

With open miracles from Hashem, Israel has withstood an unprecedented assault launched by Iran since the start of the conflict on Friday. According to fresh data released by the IDF, over 400 ballistic missiles and approximately 1,000 drones were fired toward Israel in what analysts are calling one of the most intense direct attacks the country has ever faced.

Despite the ferocity of the assault, only just over 20 of the ballistic missiles managed to strike urban areas. Tragically, 24 people were killed and more than 500 injured, but military officials note that the toll could have been exponentially higher. “We were bracing for far worse,” said a senior defense source. “There is no doubt that we are seeing nissim gedolim—great miracles.”

The drone attacks proved almost entirely ineffective. Of the 1,000 UAVs launched from Iran and its proxies, fewer than 200 even reached Israel’s borders, and not a single one struck Israeli territory. All were intercepted by the Israeli Air Force and Navy, or crashed short of their targets.

Defense analysts and security officials alike are crediting Israel’s sophisticated multi-layered air defense systems—but many are also acknowledging that the sheer scale of what was prevented defies natural explanation. “You cannot look at this and not see Yad Hashem,” one senior official said.

As the situation remains fluid, the nation continues to daven for continued protection and for peace to be restored speedily.

Iran TV broadcasts apparently hacked with calls on public to rise up

Several television broadcasts in Iran are apparently hacked with pictures and calls on the public to rise up and take to the streets in protest against the government.

The opposition-linked Iran International quotes officials as saying it only affected those receiving the broadcasts via satellite, suggesting interference with the satellite signal.

Trump approves Iran attack plan but has not made final decision, US media says

Donald Trump has approved plans to attack Iran, but has not made a final decision on whether to strike the country, the BBC’s US partner CBS reports.

The US president held off on initiating strikes in case Iran agreed to abandon its nuclear programme, a senior intelligence source told CBS. Trump is reportedly considering a US strike on Fordo, an underground uranium enrichment facility in Iran.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Wednesday rejected Trump’s demand for unconditional surrender, as the US president said his patience had run out.

On Wednesday, Trump said, “I may do it, I may not do it”, when asked a question about US involvement in Iran.
