Deutchkreutz aka Tzelem I would like to bring the following to the attention of your readers:- If you or your family have connections with this town – one of the famous ‘sheva kehilos’ of Burgenland – you might be interested to hear that there is a historian living there who is working on a project entitle “Ariesization” in Deutschkreutz. He has been in contact with me and has dug up and shared some very interesting and previously unknown facts about my family – including original documents from the camps about my father. He would be happy to share his research with any interested person and welcomes information that can aid his research. His database contains details about a number of survivors who came to England via the Kindertransport between December 1938 and May 1939 via Holland. The sources for this come from the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Vienna. If anybody would like his contact details, please contact me on 07956 234 524 or email [email protected]. Stephen Colman |
