Top KC barrister Aidan O’Neill warns
The UK government’s proposed Schools Bill is; “discriminatory, intrusive, and unconstitutional” with devastating implications for family life and religious freedom.
The new Schools Bill being debated in parliament now is not just bureaucracy. It is a direct threat to Torah chinuch:
What’s at Stake? Words in the bill include;
“Suitable education” this is vague, undefined, and open to anti-Torah reinterpretation.
“State intrusion.” Local unelected authorities have the power to inspect homes, interrogate parents, and shut down yeshivos that don’t conform.
The implications include:
Time in school that is allocated for limmud haTorah can be forced to be reduced or even replaced by secular ideologies.
Yeshivos that refuse to follow state values can be forced to close.
Parents will be treated with suspicion along with mandatory registration, invasive oversight and possible forced school attendance.
Hagaon Harav Avrohom Gurwitz shlit”a has said, “If this law passes, we may need to educate our children outside the UK.
”Leading King’s Counsel, Aidan O’Neill is calling the Bill “discriminatory, intrusive, and illegal under UK and human rights law.”
Over 10,000 Yidden have already signed the Declaration of Parental Rights and Educational Freedom endorsed by Gedolim and Rabbonim inside the Uk and also Gedolim around the world which include hagaon R elye ber wachfogel shlita,hagaon R chaim flohr shlita,hoagaon R kalmanovitz shlita,hagaon R ezriel ohrbach shlita,hagaon chida weis shlita,
We must act with one voice to protect our chinuch, our mesorah, our yeshivos and our children. Now is the time to act.
What Can We Do Now?
This is not just another law. This is not about politics. This is a test of emunah. It’s about whether our children will be able to grow up being a Torah Yid.
We will stand strong.
This week, a major political journal with 1.5 million monthly readers published a powerful exposé featuring this campaign — the message is spreading.
